FSG 39 Materials Handling Equipment

Federal Supply Group 39, Materials Handling Equipment, encompasses all equipment used to move, store, control, or protect materials, goods, and products, throughout the manufacturing, distributing, consuming, and disposing processes. FSG 39 includes things such as conveyors, feeders, pushcarts, cranes, and more for general materials handling. Note that FSG 39 does not include specifically designed materials handling equipment such as that used for airfields, etc. For specifically designed materials handling equipment, see appropriate FSGs.
